KX-96 Talent Search
On Thursday October 11th 2006 Brenda qualified in first place at the KX-96 talent search at the Corral in Oshawa.
The irony of the event - Brenda is too young to be allowed in the bar. They made an accommodation that she could wait outside until it was her turn to sing. Brenda sang At Last and Jesus take the wheel. Adrianne Vogal called Brenda back in just in time to hear the results. The panel of judges and Charlie Major were very impressed with her performance. Brenda was announced in first place and sang Jesus take the wheel again for the crowd.
The qualifying rounds will be held for 10 weeks with the Grande finale show being held at the Corral on December 7th 2006 at 9pm.
